CIMMfest

Mary Shelley is a powerhouse trio of seasoned veterans of the Chicago music scene. For this special fusion event, Scott Lucas, frontman of both The Married Men and Local H not to mention a new gig as film critic for the Chicagoist.com, rounded up beloved ex-The Smashing Pumpkin/Zwan drummer Jimmy Chamberlain, as well as jazz composer/wunderkind Matt Ulery of Matt Ulery's Loom. This collective, with its broad talent and mixed genre styles will make for an interesting vision and live score to Sergei Eisenstein's legendary 1925 Russian silent film "Battleship Potemkin.”
